Hiking

Cycling
Enjoy natural beauty on two wheels. You will find 3,000 kilometres of cycling paths for mountain and road biking in Istria. Nearby, in the area of Labin, there are several demanding trails, from Gračišće to Rabac and from Rabac to Skitača. For all extreme cycling fans our recommendation is Gračišće – a small town located on a cliff overlooking Čepić Field, the former lake, offering a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding hills and the mountain Učka.

Zip Line
An unforgettable experience from central Istria. Zip line above the Pazin pit is exactly what you are looking for. Adrenaline fun where people, secured by the belt, go down the steel rope through the canyon. This adrenaline experience is divided in two parts. The first line is 220 m long and from the same place starts another 280 m long line. The distance from Čepić to Pazin is 30 minutes.

Island Cres
Start from Brestova, a small place just 15 minutes away from Čepić, that is connected by ferry with the island of Cres. The island is famous for its gastronomy so be sure to taste the most famous speciality of Cres, lamb meat, which owes its exceptional flavour to the traditional way of raising sheep in free grazing on island pastures, and as a starter do not miss the home made goat cheese with prosciutto and olives. Wine roads and
olive oil roads
The olive is the symbol of the Mediterranean and the olive oil is a gastronomic pleasure. Olive oil production in Istria is thousands years old and primarily Istrian olive growers are responsible for the high quality of Istrian olive oil. At international competition festivals Istrian olive oils are often awarded the titles of some of the best in the world.
Wine is art. The best Istrian winemakers say that wine is being made in the vineyard, but specific skills are needed to preserve the best of grapes and incorporate it in wine. Every year winemakers and wine growers present the results of their effort and knowledge at the traditional Vinistra exhibition which is the most famous wine event in Istria.
Sentona's path
Use the morning or afternoon and walk along the 2,9 km long path that starts in Labin and goes to the tourist place called Rabac. With the fresh scent of laurel and Mediterranean pine, Labin goddess Sentona, the protector of travellers, reveals the most beautiful protected natural landscape of Labin area.
Opatija
Situated below the mountain and Nature Park Učka, Opatija attracts tourists from Europe and world for over 160 years. Take a walk along the Lungomare promenade, enjoy local and international culinary delicacies, get to know the town where the Austrian nobility initiated tourism on the Adriatic.
